It’s time you realize why I like Lee Seung GI
I spilled my heart out in the previous post as to why Lee Seung Gi and I (probably) has the hots for YoonA. So naturally I have to write why YoonA (probably) has the hots for Lee Seung Gi.
Lee Seung Gi is probably one of the hardest working, down to earth and genuine celebrities I have ever witnessed. Incredibly witty and talented, the man just oozes awesome. Now let’s be honest here, to me, his looks do not garner the same effect that Rain or other top male stars do, but the aggregate of him is so much more than just petty looks. Continue reading
So you wanna learn why I and many other fanboys like Yoona? Read on then.
So things have kind of calmed down a bit after a couple of days, but I am still floored when I really think about what has happened. Seung Gi hyung asked out YoonA, his crush for years and they’ve been going out at least for the past 4 months? Man this is just craziness.
After seeing the overwhelmingly positive response and unfortunately a small group of naysayers, I think it’s time I explain to Airen’s exactly why Lee Seung Gi (probably) chose YoonA.
WTF, Disbelief, Happiness, Euphoria. These are emotions and expressions I felt and wore when i found out Lee Seung Gi was reported and confirmed to be dating YoonA. I don’t think I can properly describe what I felt when i read the news, but I can certainly try.
So the dust has sorta settled as I constantly refreshed Tryp96’s blog like no tomorrow last night and Seung Gi left us a bomb of an MV.
Personally I found the MV to be very well made. It’s a lot more personal of a story MV as it would seem that way as it’s based on Seung Gi’s past love life. It’s such a simple, cliched story, but doesn’t make it any less enthralling.
Wistfully wishing you to buy my album if you like it ^^
If it’s any season for ballads to thrive it would be the fall, and especially November. It’s the season where you’re stuck in weather limbo. Gone are the warmer fall days, yet it’s not the glistening snow that means Christmas holidays are around the corner. Daylight is limited and you notice that it becomes too dark much too earlier in the day and that you feel depressed or drained. While we’re in that depressed state, it’s easy to listen to a song, reminiscence of the days where we broke up, or had a crappy day, and listen to soulful songs to try to heal our depressed hearts. This album, while it does not surprise, it does what it was advertised to do, heal the heart.
I’ll be honest, this album isn’t a shocker, it isn’t amazing but it’s far from mediocre. This album is like a long-lost friend, someone who’ve you’ve missed for a while, but once you’ve found them, you start to have that feeling of being comfortable, simplicity and nostalgia. Welcome back ballad prince.
Please accept by apology with a picture of Seung Gi and a cute dog.
So I’ve been away for a while, and I apologize for not updating the blog. I really needed a break from blogging with all that was going on in my life, and it didn’t help my bro Seung Gi has been pretty quiet on terms of the activities front.
Then all of a sudden he’s back in a big way, appearing on Running Man, releasing his album extremely soon, having his annual concert, appearing in his umpteenth commercial and confirmed for the lead role in a fusion saguek. So what better way to celebrate Seung Gi’s return then to return to writing about the awesome man.
You can expect the following in the coming weeks;
1) Vol. 5.5 “Forest” Mini-Album Review
2) Running Man screen-shot caption recap
3) 2 Hearts: Chapter 2
Looking forward to hearing from you guys soon!
Congrats to this awesome dude
